Dr. Elstrott is a well-respected entrepreneur and educator. He is a Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship and the founding director of the Levy-Rosenblum Institute for Entrepreneurship at Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business.
Additionally, he currently serves as a Director on many Public, Private and Non-Profit Boards, including, but not limited to, Whole Foods Market, Fraenkel, Laitram, Danos and Curole, Sambazon, Zehnder Communications, Traditional Medicinals, Regional Technology Strategies, Compass Point Research, PreSonus and Synscia.
Dr. Elstrott is the recepient of the Howard W. Wissner and James T. Murphy awards. He has also been awarded the Edwin M. Appel prize and the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year award for Louisiana.
He was also named “innovator of the year” by New Orleans City Business in 2002. Dr. Elstrott continues to advise Theodent in its distribution and marketing strategies and plays a crucial role in the company’s expansion plans.
